My paper will focus on The Kite Runner by Khaled Hosseini. I will summerize the book and use the literary emelents foreshadowing, theme and irony. I will present both sides including why people want the book banned and why people do not want the book banned. I will also state why these two different sides think the way they do about the book being banned. I will use backround infomation about the story, mostly the setting and time period, to describe why events in the book happened the way they did. I will also give a brief overview of the events in Afghanistan and how they impacted the lives of thousands of people living there.
